- I volunteered for Children's Hospital in Minneapolis. While there, I had two separate roles. One was called the float role. I was tasked with going around the hospital and seeing if any nurses needed any assistance. I interacted with some patients, and got some understanding in how to communicate with them. The other role was working in the Sibling Play Area. This was an area located in the hospital where siblings of patients could come to relax and have fun. While there, I helped set up fun activities for children and cleaned up after them. Overall, I had a great experience volunteering at this hospital, I got an interesting and engaging introduction to the hospital environment. I hope to be able to volunteer there again!

The Erudite Club was a family owned tutoring company that focused on helping K -6 students bounce back from the pandemic. Since the start of the pandemic had drastically affected our education system, the Erudite Club specialized in making kids interested in learning again and helping them focus on the main subjects of math, reading, and science. As a tutor at this club, I tutored 2-3 kids every week and helped rekindle their passion for school.
