I am a 19 year old student at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities pursuing a BS in Biology on a Pre-Med Track. At the University of Minnesota I work as an Undergraduate Student Researcher in the Reineke Group. This opportunity has provided me with skills such as analyzing scientific papers, understanding proper lab safety, and how to collaborate well with a large group of people to achieve a goal. I am also able to interact with people in a positive manner while providing customer service due to my time as a Server. As a Server I have also learned how to multitask proficiently and my time as a Barback taught me how to maintain a high level of cleanliness and how to move quickly and efficiently in high pressure situations. My time as a Shift Lead led me to be proficient at leading team members and maintaining a positive workplace environment. Additionally I am able to adapt and thrive in new situations quickly due to my time as a Host.
