Casey Gyan

Hello, my name is Casey Amoakwah Gyan. I am an undergraduate student at Baylor University pursuing a career in pediatrics. After graduating from Simley Senior High School, I began my academic journey at Baylor University to prepare for a career in medicine and service. One of my long-term goals is to contribute to advancing healthcare by improving patient outcomes and expanding access to quality care for diverse and underserved communities, such as areas that are low-income, rural, or do not have adequate access to healthcare. I am particularly passionate about working with children and hope to pursue a surgical career that allows me to make a meaningful impact in pediatric healthcare. Outside of academics, I enjoy reading, cooking, and studying psychology and human anatomy. I am always open to connecting with healthcare professionals, researchers, and mentors.
