Summary

I have a strong foundation in Educational Studies and have completed graduate-level coursework in School Counseling. As someone in recovery, my personal journey has deeply influenced my perspective, instilling a passion for helping others. My experiences have shaped me into a compassionate and empathetic individual, driven to support others through their challenges.

I identify as queer, and given the current political climate, I am especially committed to advocating for and supporting the queer community, with a particular focus on queer youth. I believe in creating safe, inclusive spaces where all individuals can thrive.

Professionally, I offer a unique skill set built on empathy, active listening, patience, and crisis de-escalation. I have hands-on experience working in a school for students with emotional-behavioral disorders, where I developed strong, trusting relationships with students that helped them build resilience, overcome challenges, and thrive in their learning environments.

I am passionate about making a difference and continue to focus on how I can give back to communities in need, especially queer youth and those facing emotional or behavioral challenges. My work is grounded in kindness, understanding, and a belief in the potential of every individual.
