Key Duties:

• Supervise inmates to prevent disturbances, assaults, and escapes.
• Enforce facility rules, conduct inmate counts, and inspect living quarters.
• Search inmates and cells for contraband and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Escort inmates to various locations such as courtrooms, medical facilities, or recreational areas.
• Monitor surveillance equipment and respond to alarms or incidents.
• Complete written reports on inmate conduct, incidents, and facility conditions.
• Intervene in conflicts or emergencies, using de-escalation techniques and physical restraint when necessary.
• Support rehabilitation efforts by encouraging inmates to participate in educational or vocational programs.

• My responsibility at this job was to break down and stock the dairy frozen load. I would also have to perform customer service when customers were wondering where something was located.

• I provided customer service to any customer that needed it. I ran the club house. Things I would do in the club house were book tee times, run the cash register, and make sure everything was stocked and cleaned. I would also wash golf carts when customers were done golfing.

• Supervised daily activities of juvenile residents, ensuring compliance with facility rules and regulations.
• Conducted regular safety inspections to maintain a secure environment for staff and residents.
• Mediated conflicts between residents, promoting de-escalation techniques and conflict resolution strategies.
