I did invoice closing, billing and collections. Overseen more less experienced techs.
  • Streamlined the shops inventory and ordered more bulk. This lead to a thirty percent savings in part wholesale pricing, saving what the customer paid in retail. This also gave the shop a competitive pricing edge over other shops in the area. By ordering more bulk for commonly used parts less frequently I was able to save greatly on the shops shipping cost. The vendors I used for parts look up and orders were CPD, Magniot, and GNE. These are parts, engine and equipment suppliers.

Ninety percent of the equipment that came in were not mowers and were for service in the spring before. With my Experience and attention to detail. and by my insistence that the customer use only non-oxygenated 91 octane premium fuel. Customer service and relations is Key

When I take in a piece of equipment or look up a part. I would diagnose and explain to the customer in relatable terms, the problem and cost of repair. If I overlooked any problem in the initial diagnosis, I would call the customer explain the oversight and cost of repair would not move forward until the customer and if were on the same page. Honesty instills loyalty and customer retention.
