As an Eagle Scout, I honed my leadership and communication abilities through my tenure and various responsibilities within my troop. I held multiple roles, both in my patrol and the broader troop. For instance, as a Librarian, I managed the troop’s website, created a shared Google platform for collaboration, and maintained a central calendar. Our troop operated on a scout-led model, with adults providing advice, and those in leadership positions were expected to present ideas and lead the troop. This experience allowed me to apply my technological interests to real-world scenarios.

Additionally, I contributed to my community in several ways, including public park cleanups, meal preparations, and through my Eagle Scout Project. My project entailed collaborating with the local public park board to construct a safety fence at a nearby baseball field. This initiative helped me develop professional leadership, communication, and resource management skills while working alongside a formal body like a Public Park Board.
