I am eager to leverage my strong communication skills and beginner medical skills throughout my college career. Currently, I work part-time as a shift supervisor at Papa Murphy's in Oregon, WI, where I effectively direct, problem-solve with coworkers, and ensure patrons have a positive experience. During the school months, I volunteer weekly at the Ronald McDonald House in Minneapolis, teaching children life skills, and playing games to enrich their daily lives. My experience as a lifeguard in New York and Wisconsin provided me with rudimentary medical skills, and I am CPR-certified. As a lifeguard, I enforced safety rules, practiced life-saving measures, and communicated with patrons to ensure their enjoyment. Helping others and providing support is central to my identity, and I believe I would be a valuable asset to the ACS team in Minneapolis.
