Gracie Anderson

• Responsible for planning, leading, and implementing recreational and creative experiences for school age children in a group setting while incorporating YMCA values of caring, equity, honesty, respect, and responsibility.
• Monitor children for emotional and behavioral problems.
• Assist in maintaining accurate program records including incident reports, daily rosters, logbook documentation, and attendance records.
• Communicate with parents or guardians about daily activities, behaviors and upcoming events.

• In process of completing 75 hours for the course Junior Field Practicum required by St. Thomas.
• Directly work with clients and engage with different members of the community.
• Shadow social workers and advocates in various settings.

• Tasked with helping and providing appropriate curriculum while focusing on areas of development and kindergarten readiness that may be impacted by homelessness and other adversities.
• Administer general childcare and supervision, while being a positive role model for the kids, and provide age-appropriate entertainment and engagement.

Seasonal Job
