• I currently work in roll repair and in that shop i am proficient in using the skf drive up method and using feeler gauges to check distance between the roll and the outer race of the bearing to make sure its within tolerance. I am also proficient in measuring bearing fits including straight bore or tapered shafts using mics of many sizes. I also measure the bearing housings using an inside mic of various sizes. Rigging is a needed skill in this job so I have became very proficient in knowing how to safely rig a housing, bearing, Roll, and many other parts / equipment.

while I was an intern I Learned how to rebuild and reassemble pumps of many kinds including runner assembly's for gould and worthington pumps, moyno pumps and liquor screens. i would also check for run out in pump shafts with a dial indicator to see if it was in tolerance.

i also learned how to run the machinery in the machine shop such as the hydraulic press, band saws, drill press, mills , and lathes.
