My personal experiences in the workforce have granted me valuable skills in communicating, troubleshooting, and accountability. Having worked at a law firm over the summer, my boss repeatedly mentioned to be that she and the attorney's recognized me as an honest and hard worker. When I am faced with a problem, I am not afraid to admit I don't know the answer, but I will make sure that my next response is to learn the answer and apply it to the problem the best I can. Whether this problem requires me to communicate with others, face a challenging task, or simply reassess the issue, I will make sure that I find the solution. Putting in my best effort is always something I look for.
I worked at Fryberger's firm for the summer of 2024 as well as over my J-term period of this school year. At the firm I worked in the mailroom/file room assisting with clerical duties and projects. This includes closing and pulling files, organizing the daily mail, going through checks, and stamping and labeling mail. Daily activities also included making trips between firms picking up/delivering packages, or making my way to a official building to pick up any documents they needed.
Overall my experience at Fryberger was amazing, I built many connections with the attorney's and my boss. Seeing everything happen in motion at a law firm was great to see as someone who hopes to pursue a career in law and this job only enhanced that interest.
I worked at Excel Drywall & Painting every summer since 2020, I was employed by my dad, and through the years of working carpentry I have built a lot of skills not just in the physical work
