I served at a restaurant and i was responsible for creating a positive dining experience by assisting guests from the moment they are seated until they leave. i would greet customers, explain menu items, answer questions about food and drinks, take orders accurately, and communicate those orders to the kitchen and bar staff. Throughout the meal, i would check on the guests, refill beverages, deliver food, address any concerns, and ensure that the customers are satisfied with their experience. i also prepare and present bills, process payments, and maintain cleanliness and organization in their assigned dining areas. I had strong communication, multitasking, and customer service skills that are essential for success in this role.

i was an assistant manager at a gas station and i helped oversee daily operations and supports the store manager in ensuring the business runs efficiently. my responsibilities include supervising employees, creating work schedules, training new staff, handling customer concerns, and maintaining high standards of customer service. I also assisted with inventory management by monitoring stock levels, ordering products, and ensuring shelves are properly stocked. In addition, my role did handle cash deposits, reconcile registers, enforce safety and company policies, and help maintain a clean, organized, and secure environment for both customers and employees. I aslo helped manage 2 other stores in the district.

As a roofer i did installs, repairs, and maintained the roofs on residential, commercial, and industrial buildings to protect them from weather and structural damage. My duties include inspecting roofs for damage, measuring and cutting roofing materials, removing old roofing, and installing materials such as shingles, metal panels, or membranes. I used specialized tools and safety equipment while working at high heights, ensuring all work meets building codes and safety standards. I also sealed leaks, replaced damaged sections, and performed routine maintenance to extend the life of a roof. My attention to details, physical stamina, and knowledge of roofing systems are important for this type of physical labor.

I currently work at touhy furniture, Monday through thursdays. Sanding work in a furniture warehouse im responsible for preparing wood surfaces to ensure furniture pieces are smooth, clean, and ready for staining, painting, and finishing. My duties include using hand tools and power sanders to remove rough spots, imperfections, and excess material from wood products while following quality standards. I inspect furniture components for defects, maintain sanding equipment, and keep work areas clean and organized. I must pay close attention to detail to achieve a consistent finish and often work closely with production and finishing teams to ensure the final product meets customer and company expectations.
