Finding that Pittsburgh Blue could not provide enough hours, I sought out new employment in a field where I could follow my passion of working with children again. I started as a School Age Child Care Aide, and worked my way to becoming a Lead. As I am in school pursuing a degree in Early Education K-6, my tasks and responsibilities at SACC have been beneficial in preparing me for my future career. These tasks and responsibilities include working with children under the directive of the super intendant; monitoring and supervising children in various activities, both inside and outdoors, including during meal times; and following tasks as assigned by Team Leaders.

After a 8 month recovery from knee surgery, I secured a position as Hostess at Pittsburgh Blue. Standard Hostess responsibilities were performed.

As my first job, at the age of 16, I was hired at the Rochester Athletic club in their kids club department. There, I assisted in the watching and caring for children while their parents utilized the gym facility. The children I cared for ranged from the ages, 6 months to 6 years old.
