I have cultivated a wide range of skills throughout the course of my education as well as practical experience via previous employment. Working in customer service has honed my ability to communicate with customers and coworkers alike in order to foster an efficient, happy, and safe working environment. My early work as a Plant technician taught me the value of being an employee able to operate independently following initial instruction while bearing the responsibility of making critical decisions while at the jobsite. Working in tree care has allowed me to become a confident assessor of client need based on knowledge of urban silviculture. This has also promoted a thoughtful and safety-oriented mindset requiring me to balance my knowledge of tree health with general worksite spatial awareness. Most of all, working in a potentially dangerous environment with potentially dangerous machinery has taught me the importance and practice of regular mechanical maintenance, exemplary communication skills, and constant awareness.

As an experienced Medical Director with a specialization in Reproductive Endocrinology Infertility (REI) and Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ARTs), I have had the privilege of working in large hospitals and medical schools in urban areas for over thirty years. My extensive background in the field has allowed me to become well-versed in all aspects of ART and associated basic and clinical research. Throughout my career, I have successfully built robust medical practices that have helped countless patients achieve their dreams of starting a family. Furthermore, these successful pregnancies include high risk patients because of their chronological age and associated medical conditions.
One of my greatest strengths as a Medical Director is my ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, including physicians, nurses, and administrators. By collaborating closely with these individuals, I have been able to develop comprehensive treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient. Through open communication and a willingness to listen, I have been able to build strong relationships with my colleagues and create a positive work environment that fosters creativity and innovation. My dedication to third party reproduction and genomics attracts many national and international patients, as they don’t have access to this type of ART in their geographical area.
In addition to my technical expertise, I am also skilled in communicating complex medical concepts to both medical and non-medical audiences. Whether I am presenting research findings at a medical conference or explaining treatment options to a patient, I am able to convey information in a clear and concise manner that is easy to understand. This has been particularly important in my work with patients who may be feeling overwhelmed or anxious about their fertility struggles. By providing them with accurate information and compassionate support, I have been able to help them feel more confident and empowered throughout their treatment journey.
Overall, I am proud of the work that I have done as a Medical Director in the field of REI and ARTs. Through my dedication and commitment to excellence, I have been able to help countless patients achieve their dreams of starting a family, while also contributing to the advancement of medical knowledge and research in this important area.

I am a first-year BA Politics student at the University of Leeds with a strong academic background in Business Management, where I achieved D*D*D in my Extended BTEC. Through my studies, extracurricular activities, and competitive sport, I have developed strong written communication, analytical thinking, teamwork, and time-management skills. I am particularly interested in consulting because I enjoy problem-solving, working in fast-paced environments, and applying structured thinking to complex challenges.

Having grown up with parents working at SJJ I have been preparing for this opportunity throughout my life.
