Worked with existing and potential customers to create customized and tailored solutions for different sheet metal and tube applications. Utilizing extensive fabrication and machine knowledge along with customer relations to bridge the gap between customer's engineering teams and Bemidji Steel's production team. Each solution aimed at boosting customer's efficiency, cut cost, and provide a higher quality end product.

Assisted the director of manufacturing in all task needed to ensure production ran smoothly ensuring on-time delivery to customers. These task included

• Creating & compiling all production paperwork
• Preprogrammed all needed machine processes
• Coordinated machine schedules to ensure OTD
• Analyzing production processes for continuous improvements
• Assisting in machine troubleshooting
• Creating and implementing machine process Standard Operating Procedure

Played a key role on the production floor as the first go to with any questions or problems any other operators across all machine centers (Flat laser, Tube laser, Press brake). Daily duties involved.

• Operating machine center that was needed for the day
• Assist operators in machine troubleshooting
• Ensure production floor was operating efficiently
• Communicate with machine manufactures for parts and on site visits
• Work with production management to continuously improve processes

• Operated a wide range of fabrication equipment (Fiber optic flat laser & tube laser, CNC press brake, robotic weld cell)
• Understood and followed production paperwork
• Read and interpreted customer part prints
• Utilized calibrated measurement tools to ensure part quality
• Maintained and followed machine centers outlined preventative maintenance
