Leadership and Initiative

  • Currently training in store 710’s Mate Development program created by Captain Dan Kramer. Skills learned in the development program include learning to write large sections every three to five months, making sure that owned sections are fully stocked and well organized. Operational duties include taking the delivery trucks, breaking down pallets, and organizing backroom stock.
  • Closed store 714 on several occasions as Floor Lead. Duties include making sure the crew were supported in closing assignments such as sections being properly closed, and that the backroom and front end were organized and cleaned with the goal in mind of preparing for a successful opening for the morning Crew and Mates.
  • Assists management in the training process of new employees, providing feedback and input in the development of new employees.

Crew Culture and Customer Experience

  • Practices using the virtue of integrity on the as part of everyday life by treating people – whether it be with familiar relations or strangers – with kindness and respect.
  • Assisted with Mates with Crew tastings, store parties, and other store activities.
  • Keeps up-to-date knowledge on all current and new products to relay product information and recommendations to customers.

Operations and Store Support

  • Experienced in both opening and closing store operations. Morning operations such as making sure sections are fully stocked with newly arrived products in a timely manner and assisting Crew and Mates in clearing up the sales floor of objects before the store opens. Closing operations include making sure sections are stocked and backstock is neatly organized to set-up the morning Crew for success.
  • Wrote multiple sections ranging from large perishable sections to smaller sections such as HABA. Most memorable and proud experience would be the section lead for 727 Trader Joe’s. Responsibilities included merchandising, shares, overseeing customer orders, and making sure the entrance area was cleared and well organized for incoming customers.
