  • International Society for Bipolar Disorders (ISBD) 2024 Conference, Clinician Perspectives on Extending Coordinated Specialty Care for First Episode Psychosis to Early-Stage Bipolar Disorder, Exploring the implementation and effectiveness of an adapted Coordinated Specialty Care intervention for young people with early bipolar disorder within an existing First Episode Psychosis services at the University of Minnesota, aiming to address the scarcity of comprehensive early intervention treatments for bipolar disorder.
  • The International Early Intervention and Prevention in Mental Health Association (IEPA) 2025 Conference, Multifamily Groups for Early Psychosis, The aims of this research are to 1.) consolidate knowledge about a long-term open family education and support group designed to help families of individuals experiencing early psychosis and 2.) to examine what families report is most helpful for them in this setting. A case study design will be used to analyze quality improvement data gathered with reflective thematic analysis with specific attention paid to how the group has evolved and changed over time including the challenges faced by families before, during, and after the pandemic.
