St Louis Park, Minnesota
09.2023 - 06.2026
In this role, we are responsible for rooming and preparing patients for their doctor’s appointment.
When I first started, I would float between work sites and between disciplines (Family medicine, Internal Medicine and Pediatrics).
Later I took a full-time position within pediatric endocrinology in St Louis Park.
Again I am responsible for rooming and making sure the patient is prepared for the doctor by obtaining vitals, medication review, point of care A1c testing if appropriate, and performing insulin pump downloads and reports for the doctor.
In addition to these responsibilities, I will also review consults and prep charts for future appointments and complete any necessary patient provided paperwork. I would also send referrals, lab orders and any completed chart notes to patient’s primary care provider.
Emergency Medical Technician

Princeton, Minnesota
03.2019 - 11.2023
Currently work on a ALS ambulance and respond to 911 calls in the Princeton area alongside my paramedic partner.
With responding to medical 911 calls it has given me more experience in adapting to new and sometimes chaotic situations.
Being able to keep one’s composure and ensure that we are getting the patient to the hospital safely while providing adequate interventions to help them stabilize or improve their medical condition.
The job has also given me more reason to have empathy for others and to really try and put yourself in their shoes and try and come up with a plan to make them the most successful and get through this difficult situation.
