Joshua Fridberg

I am responsible for filling the floor, getting freight out in a timely matter, organizing backstock, building grills, taking calls to help customers with larger items, and helping out in other shops when needed during busy seasons.

I worked as a YMCA Day Camp Counselor located at the YMCA Day Camp Streefland in Lakeville MN. My job responsibilities included being able to manage the day schedule of 10-14 kids in my group and make sure they made every single activity they singed up for. I also had to become a expert in fishing and mountain biking so I could lead those camps myself and make sure everyone understood the rules and were practicing safe practices at the camp. This job also required CPR certification.

I worked here for only a month but my responsibilities gave me a lot of experience. I was responsible for opening and also closing the shop at times.Opening required unlcoking the gates and makeing sure the cash count added up. Closing duties included counting cash and running the money to the bank as well as locking the gate at the end of the night. I was also responsible with helping customers find what they were looking for and recommending certain plants/flowers in certain situations. I was also responsible for running the cash registers.
