Summary

Experienced special education leader with expertise in MTSS, due-process compliance, instructional programming, adult learning, and collaborative systems leadership across P-12 and higher education settings. I bring collaborative leadership experience grounded in inclusive instructional practice, relationship-centered systems work, and a deep commitment to equitable student outcomes. My professional background includes coaching and mentoring educators, supervising student interns, facilitating interdisciplinary collaboration, and supporting staff through complex instructional, relational, and systems-level challenges across both school and organizational settings. In labor relationship work, I led large-scale member engagement and professional support initiatives, helped strengthen collaborative culture, and supported educators through periods of significant change and challenge. Colleagues consistently describe me as a steady, grounded leader who approaches difficult situations with curiosity, authenticity, and genuine care for students, families, and staff. My leadership philosophy is rooted in culturally responsive practice, accessibility, and meaningful inclusion, with a strong belief that sustainable student success depends upon adults feeling supported, valued, and empowered in their work.
