Performed duties of a Certified Professional Controller (CPC) at a level 12 Enroute center. These include providing orderly, safe, and expeditious flow of traffic within the national airspace system, and providing additional services to pilots. Also certified as a on the job training instructor (OJTI), teaching developmental controllers on the Radar, and Radar Associate positions.
Given that this a very dynamic job, I have developed some specialized skills that include a keen awareness in regards to the proper prioritization of duties. I furthered a natural tendency to seek out efficiency in resolving whatever challenge is presented to me, while maintaining a confident and professional demeanor regardless of the circumstances.
Having worked within the same area of specialization as a CPC controller for three years, I have gained great insight to the most efficient flow of traffic and routes in and out of major airports that we serve within the region. Additionally, my time working operational positions has provided a thorough understanding of various capabilities with the equipment utilized for the job, as well as some of its limitations.
