  • To perform duties of general office manager/supervisor for the Biology Department, Geoscience Department, Physics Department, and to ensure effective and efficient workflow and administration of the programs within the College of Science and Engineering.

Notify and coordinate with faculty and staff regarding timelines for course scheduling, catalog revisions, budgeting, and contracts to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
  • Function as the lead Purchasing Agent for the Biology, Geoscience, and Physics Departments. Oversee complex budgets by analyzing expenditures, monitoring balances, and preparing detailed budget reports. Provide budgetary advisement to department chairs and Medical Lab Specialist program director, and initiate transfers or corrections independently as needed to ensure fiscal accuracy and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive departmental records systems, ensuring secure, organized, and efficient access to files and data for Biology, Geoscience, and Physics Departments. Uphold university records retention policies and ensure confidentiality where appropriate.
  • Prioritize and manage a high volume of diverse administrative responsibilities with minimal supervision. Evaluate incoming tasks, set priorities based on departmental needs and deadlines, and implement efficient workflows to ensure operational excellence across all departments supported.
