Michael Sjoberg

My current duties as scheduler and graphics coordinator consisted of scheduling 3 flexographic printing presses. As part of this, I was required to manipulate the schedule daily based on customer needs and printing efficiency. In addition I was required to maintain our plate storage area as well as monitor plate condition and printability ordering new plates as required. I was also involved with suggesting graphics changes to help with press speeds as well as better printability aspects to help minimize dirty print. I supervised 3 plate mounters and one plate puller/washer and also was responsible for ordering stick back and print sleeves.

• Collaborated with other departments on cross-functional projects involving printing services. Worked closely with both customer service and sales to determine staffing and press needs. Worked with maintenance to schedule preventive maintenance time allotments. Also was involved with quality manager and techs to approve first print runs and print deviations. Did both in person and virtual approvals with customers.
