I complete a variety of GIS related tasks for internal agencies at the Minnesota Department of Agriculture. These tasks have included:

• Creating data sets to be used for future analyzes, and then using ArcMap tools including Near to run these analyses
• Creating ArcGIS online applications using WebAppBuilder
• Formatting/editing spreadsheets and datasets using Python scripts
• Automating the process of generating hundreds of maps based on created layer files; etc

Job Duties:

• Writing Python scripts to automate Geo-Spatial, and attribute-manipulating processes
• Fixing/manipulating address data in a spreadsheet to prepare it for Geo-Coding, and then running the Geo-Code, fixing poorly matched addresses as they are found
• Running Analyses and generating reports on spatial and tabular data, including GAP assessments, and data error reports in Excel
• Editing attribute information manually in an ESRI Enterprise database

Job Duties:

• Creating printable maps of relevant information for internal and external clients of Catholic Charities
• Writing Python scripts to manipulate Census data spreadsheets in order to create desired data to be mapped
• Creating maps on ArcGIS online or CARTO as platform for showing mapped census and internal data to clients

Job Duties:

• Used a Trimble 6000 series GPS to move the estimated location of sewer assets in an ArcGIS mobile map to their actual locations in the field
• Reviewed As-built plans to determine the completeness of digital sewer assets map, and add any missing points in enterprise Geo-Database
• Edited the geometries of sewer pipelines to reflect the new corrected locations if sewer assets in enterprise database
• Edited attribute information of Cartegraph OMS.

Job Duties:

• Aided students in the lab with finishing labs for GIS classes, as well as helping them find tools/data for final projects
• Documented data sources on the shared drive of the lab, and created catalogs of data in Excel
• Studied data from campus wide efforts to improve sustainability, and created python scripts and maps to show how successful the efforts had been
• Created maps for internal clients, like professors, and external clients, like Saint Paul companies. These ranging from maps in professors books to service area maps for companies
