Oversee assigned programs and ensure all licensing regulations and requirements are met.
Review and ensure individual team meeting paperwork is prepared and accurate. Ensure maintenance of
individual’s records and perform routine audits.
Coordinate with the individuals and their teams to develop person centered approaches to identify what is
important for each individual.
Manage Synova Group/Genesis Group Homes financial resources including general budgets, payroll
budgets, program accounts, and petty cash accounts.
Review site safety checklists and ensure safety risks and maintenance requests are submitted.
Complete site supervisor checklists and offer feedback for improvement.
Ensure the implementation of all health-related directives from health care professionals, ensure
Registered Nurse is kept informed about individual health service delivery and health related incidents.
Ensure incident reports, Emergency Use of Manual Restraint Forms, and Behavior Intervention Reporting
Forms are completed according to policy.
Oversee staff scheduling and reduce overtime where possible.
Collaborate with Human Resources to complete staff transfers.
Perform payroll maintenance including verifying staff hours and timesheets.
Assist site Supervisors in completing annual DSP performance reviews and complete biannual reviews for
site supervisors.
Supervise and participate in the orientation and training of staff members.
Ensure that direct care staff and supervisors meet all employment requirements, including but not limited
to, orientation, training, and qualifications.
Develop programs to advance employees and offer feedback for improvement when appropriate.
Issue corrective action and performance improvement plans.
In coordination with Residential Director, evaluate program outcomes and participate in quality
improvement projects.
Ensure a safe, harassment and discrimination free work environment. Ensure that all employment
standards are met according to federal and state law, and Synova Group/Genesis Group Homes’ policies
and procedures.
Immediately report all issues related to individuals’ rights, safety, or maltreatment to the Residential
Director.
Demonstrate a working knowledge of Synova Group/Genesis Group Homes’ policies and procedures
related to services.
Develops and maintains each site’s Program Abuse Prevention Plan.
Develops and maintains each individual’s IAPP, SMA, SPA, SP and ensure implementation.
Deliver direct care services and supervision during staffing shortages.

Supervision of DSP’s
• Supervise day to day operations at the site, ensuring DSP’s deliver services according to GGH policies and
procedures.
• Monitor all Direct Support Professionals in assessment collection and program implementation.
• Plan agenda and lead monthly site meeting.
• Directly supervise and participate in the orientation and training of Direct Support Professionals.
• Provide performance feedback and coaching to DSP staff as needed.
• Complete annual performance reviews.
• Monitor employee compliance training completion to ensure DSP’s meet DHS standards.
• Manage the schedule, including covering open shifts, based on the needs of the individuals or the home’s staffing
budget.
• Maintain payroll records including timecards, PTO requests, and overnight check-ins.
• Ensure that all employment standards are met according to federal and state law, and GGH’s policies and
procedures.
House Supervision
• Directly supervise the prudent spending and documentation of GGH financial resources, including general
budgets, payroll budgets, program accounts and petty cash accounts.
• Coordinate and directly supervise the provision of nutritionally adequate meals and ensure that food, cleaning,
and other supplies in the home are adequate.
• Coordinate and directly supervise cleaning at the home site to ensure a home-like, attractive appearance both
inside and out.
• Complete monthly site safety checklist, report repair needs, keep sidewalks and steps free of snow and ice, and
implement cleaning lists.
• Maintain all individual records and on-site GGH records, periodically audit records to assure compliance.
Person-Centered Approach with Individuals
• Directly supervise the implementation of individual rights, data privacy and the grievance procedure.
• Locate, read, understand, and implement all Genesis Group Homes policies, procedures, and
forms related to service provisions and emergencies.
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of and implement the site’s Program Abuse Prevention Plan.
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of assigned individuals’ histories, skills, program plans, SMA,
CSSPA, CSSP, and IAPP.
• Provide support and supervision to each individual at the site.
• Provide therapeutic and least restrictive methods of intervention.
• Document methods, progress, and results of all service delivery and interventions with
measurable, factual data.
• Enable individuals to make choices in all areas of their lives.
• Encourage use of public resources and recreational facilities; provide community integration
opportunities.
• Help to establish and keep community relationships and friendships.
• Assist individuals with daily routines including, but not limited to, household tasks, cooking and
eating, individual self-care, socializing, use of leisure time, health and safety, money management
and behavior management.
• Develop and demonstrate outcome-based therapeutic working relationships with individuals,
staff, families and friends, management, and other agency personnel.
• Keep supervisor and other staff informed of individual progress and issues, and company or
individual incidents.
