The primary responsibility of the Advantage Services Specialist is to provide resources, advocacy, crisis intervention, and supportive services to residents, as well as plan, coordinate, and evaluate programs designed to support resident housing stability.
The Advantage Services Specialist is responsible for overseeing all front desk operations and providing support to the Advantage Services Coordinator on-site. Key duties include managing administrative tasks such as making copies, handling phone calls, creating flyers for over 300 units and coordinating events.
The Office Assistant position supports the 24-hour Information Desk and the Business Operations Supervisor by providing exceptional customer service and guidance to residents and guests, enforcing departmental policies, troubleshooting challenges, and facilitating appropriate referrals to building management and other University entities.
Office Assistants play a key role in building safety and security through key management, understanding and implementing emergency procedures, and collaboration with the Community Advisors (CAs). The Office Assistant's complete administrative tasks associated with the information desk, as well as provide tours to prospective students and families.
