I am extremely dedicated and give 110% to whatever task I am given. It's always my goal to give every single person a great experience and interaction. Having the skills to be able to roll with what is given to you, the hard work ethic, and being able to ensure positive experiences every time.
My days consisted of welcoming customers in, informing them of some offers, and just letting them know they could come to me with questions. Our store was very big on being involved with the customers' experience, and being able to answer questions on merchandise, and knowing the store's background, or even what some of the items in the store meant. I also used the POS system, learned how to keep track of inventory, and was able to check people out with credit cards and cash. I also put merchandise away and helped keep the store clean and organized. They also opened a self-serve tap bar, so being involved, talking, and helping customers with the experience was also a big part. I also helped make drinks and food when needed. I also have experience with opening and closing the store, as well as doing the extra tasks of keeping the store tidy. This job has allowed me to meet and work with lots of different people, which will set me up well for the future. I also worked at the store at the state fair this past year, and that experience showed me how to adapt and roll with the punches when needed, as well as how to handle different situations with all types of people.
I was a part of over 4 years of high school, I played 2 Varsity sports, Gymnastics & Track and Field. I was a part of numerous clubs and organizations, and overall very involved in the school. These clubs and sports showed me how to balance school and life and showed me how to become a strong leader, be responsible, a team leader, and perseverant.
