Susan Berg-Williams

1. Teach all levels of Band (grades 6-8) including large ensembles, small group lessons and individual instruction; assure all students are provided the opportunity to be a part of the Band program regardless of circumstances; present multiple concerts for families and community throughout the year; continue to build and maintain a Band program students, families and school have been proud of for 25+ years
2. Coordinate with CGMS Band co-teacher(s) to develop curriculum. align instruction and assure all students receive a quality, equitable experience
3. Coordinate small group lesson schedule and efficiently communicate schedule to impacted staff
4. Participate in districtwide Band PLC to facilitate SoWashCo Band activities such as District Marching Band Showcase, 8th Grade Honors Band, SoWashCo Solo-Ensemble and 5th Grade Instrument Selection process
5.Provide positive, effective and timely communication to families
6. Positive and proactive staff member at CGMS including several years as a member of the building leadership (SITE) team and districtwide Middle School Transition Committee
7. Cooperating Teacher for numerous student teachers from UW-Eau Claire, St. Olaf College and Luther College

8. Coordinator for the student-led WEB (Where Everybody Belongs) program from its introduction in 2009 until 2024
9. Served as a Mentor Teacher for several new SoWashCo staff
10. Recognized as a SoWashCo Education All-Star in 2017
