- I started off serving food to the elderly; it was required that I take multiple caregiving classes in person and online for this position. Then, after some time, I slowly worked my way up to the front desk manager, which involved lots of problem-solving for the elderly homes around the building. Then I was promoted to the activities manager of the building, in which I directed many activities throughout the week for the residents, made a new calendar every month to hand out with daily activities that included baking, crafting, sewing, or even scheduling musical performers to play for the residents. I also worked with the memory care patients, in which the activities were more to help with dementia and other things that come with age. This was one of my favorite jobs because I enjoyed interacting with people every day and making a difference in the residents' lives.

- This was a summer job to attend to children that haven't gotten the opportunity to a proper full education or have been set behind in school. Canterbury is a race track that many jockeys come to annually to race horses, these jockeys are usually on the go a lot which makes it very difficult for their children to have a proper education. Furlong was made to help these kids Preschool through 6th grade catch up on education and have a fair chance in success. I helped teach classes Monday-Friday to children throughout the summer, as well as planning activities for them, and private tutoring. I loved this job for many reasons but main being that I got to know all of these children who came from many different backgrounds around the world and getting to learn their culture.
