  • Exposed to a very fast paced, dynamic, and chaotic environment. I contributed to all aspects of my team's success to include participating in combat operations, helping to create funding, logistical support, and training.
  • Was voted in as a squad leader of 14 men after approximately two months of time on the ground with them. This squad included several US SOF veterans from different backgrounds.
  • I was a key leader during several amphibious operations into enemy held territory, and successfully negotiated infiltration and extraction plans with other units, that they were hesitant to perform. This enabled our unit to successfully accomplish their mission objectives with no loss of life or equipment, and enabled follow on operations for our partner units.

  • During this period I deployed on four combat deployments to Afghanistan as an RTO, grenadier, SAW gunner, and as a TSE attachment, respectively. I spent a total of 17 months overseas and participated in over 100 combat operations.
  • On my last deployment I worked directly with the company commander to provide technical guidance and expertise on the use of SIGINT assets. My role enabled the strike force to find and capture high value targets by analyzing RF signals on the ground.
  • I maintained accountability and completed a handover to the replacement unit of equipment valued over 5 million dollars.
