Tracy Boardman

The Administrative Nursing Supervisor (ANS) is responsible for coordinating and facilitating patient

care and optimizing patient flow within the hospital. The ANS is a resource to patient care staff for

problem-solving care issues, utilization of resources, and policy/procedure interpretation during

assigned shifts. This position helps and facilitates efforts of personnel from all departments in

providing patient care services. The ANS collaborates with charge RNs in resource utilization. The

ANS assists hospital administrator on-call for any house-wide or high-risk issues that occur during off shifts and weekends.

• Provided emotional support and guidance to new mothers and families during labor, delivery and postpartum.
• Responded to emergency situations such as pre-eclampsia, early labor, and fetal distress.
• Assisted physician during delivery, examination and surgical procedures by anticipating needs, encouraging patient, and attending to baby after birth.
• Supported physicians in both planned and emergency Cesarean section procedures.
• Mentored new nursing staff members, sharing best practices and offering guidance to ensure a high level of patient care as floor charge

• Completed dusting, washing dishes, laundry, and vacuuming for patients.
• Addressed client household needs with meal preparation, housekeeping and transportation.
• Provided companionship and emotional support to enhance mood and quality of life.
• Transported clients to medical appointments and errands to support convenience and energy levels.
• Supported clients with household tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation to maintain a clean and comfortable environment.
