Co-Founder

Birdy MN
01.2025 - Current
  • Created a notebook with a focus on Mongolian cultural themes, ensuring user accessibility.
  • Implemented the biograph notebook project to encourage sharing of stories between generations, called Өвөө/Эмээ нь түүхээ хуваалцья- translates to Let grandpa/grandma share his/her story."

Teaching Assistant

Korea university winter school
12.2023 - 01.2024
  • Organized classroom spaces and materials to help teacher prepare for lessons.
  • Assisted teacher with marking assignments and reporting feedback to students and parents.
  • Cleaned and organized classrooms before lessons and cleared afterwards.

Teaching Assistant

Korea university summer school
07.2023 - 08.2023
  • Helped students exceed expectations by providing ongoing support and assistance throughout lessons.
  • Assisted the teacher with marking assignments and reporting feedback to students during my time in Korea.
  • Helped them to understand different academic cultures in Korea.

Student Researcher – Sea Turtle Sex Ratio & Climate

Korea Science Academy of KAIST
02.2021 - 02.2022
  • Conducted a literature-based ecological study focused on Kemp's Ridley Sea Turtle, one of the most endangered marine species, to understand how temperature-dependent sex determination (TSD) is impacted by global climate change.
  • Analyzed published experimental data to estimate the optimal temperature range (≈29°C) for achieving balanced male-to-female hatchling ratios, and explored the consequences of rising sea temperatures leading to skewed sex ratios.
  • Aimed to raise awareness of anthropogenic threats to marine biodiversity and provide insights for conservation strategies in the context of climate change, habitat disruption, and other related factors.

Student Researcher – Dandelion Root & Cancer Study

KAIST organic chemistry laboratory
02.2020 - 02.2021
  • Investigated regioselectivity in chromone-arene cross dehydrogenating coupling (CDC) reactions under the supervision of a KAIST professor, with the goal of optimising the total synthesis of Cosmosiin, a natural flavonoid with potential therapeutic applications.
  • Synthesised 5,7-dihydroxychromen-4-one via the Vilsmeier–Haack reaction, and performed transition metal-catalysed reactions (Pd-catalysis) with a variety of aromatic compounds, to explore positional preferences in the coupling process.
  • Evaluated how meta versus. Para-substitution affected the formation of desired flavonoid structures and proposed improvements for regioselective pathways, contributing to more efficient synthesis strategies in medicinal chemistry.
