• Learning how to interact with kids (ages 7-15) and manage social, emotional, safety situations
• The camp is for trans youth; being a role model and aiding in learning how to express oneself and help younger kids to find comfort and joy in their own journeys
• Leading activities such as performing arts, sports, games, crafts
• Managing order of the cabin, making sure kids are timely, tidy, treating each other well
• Helping with meal setup, bathroom cleanup, general maintenance of the camp facilities
• Working with a variety of counselors in leadership positions to give feedback; administrators, department/activity heads

• Learning what it takes to run a business within the field of the arts, primarily the manual labor and organization required to keep a studio running smoothly
• Assisting in kids classes, making sure the students understand how to respect the materials and space
• Cleaning, manual labor in transporting pieces and deliveries
• Glaze mixing, working safely with toxic chemicals
• How to load and run a kiln
• Repairing various machinery (pottery wheels, power tools, kilns, clay reclamation machine)

• Gaining insight on how to market and sell pottery, how to interact with artists in a professional setting along with their customers
• Manual labor in moving tables and boxes, setting up and helping the artists to curate their displays
• Packaging pottery for both shipping and car travel, learning how to keep fragile goods safe in transit
• Learning how to be a helpful volunteer; knowing when to step in and when to let others take the lead with their own work

• Instructing middle and high school students on the basics of skateboarding and skateboard safety
• Working with school officials to ensure safety policy
• Planning and running weekly meetings, scheduling events
• Teaching the history of skateboarding as a sport, leading discussions and lessons on it to the younger kids
• Painting and setting up skateboards, helping people get creatively engaged in how they express themselves as skaters

• Keeping track of all costumes pieces, organizing racks, setting up quick changes and making sure actors got what they needed each transition
• Working with other members of crew to design and create various costume and set elements
• Making sure each actor's belongings were kept track of and returned to them after the last show

• Moving set pieces during transitions, giving props to actors, setting up props
• Making sure everyone was on top of their schedule of when and where they were needed each night
• Keeping track of the construction and storage of various props and furniture throughout the rehearsal and performance schedule

Helping out elderly neighbors and family members who aren’t able to walk their dogs by walking them once a day as needed
